a bolt from the blue - гром средь ясного неба
e.g.The news that Mr. and Mrs. King were getting a divorce struck all their friends as a bolt from the blue.
to feel under the weather - плохо себя чувствовать
e.g. I'm feeling a little under the weather - I think I may have caught a cold.
to weather the storm - пережить трудные времена
e.g. Bob lost his job, but somehow his family weathered the storm.
